My partner and I absolutely love the area and this is a great spot to set base. Peter and Chrissie have set up a lovely room with ensuite, and a private garden. They were warm and welcoming and showed us around when we got there. We both strongly recommend.
Country-Coastal Rustic Home

We are a recently renovated 1960s bungalow at the bottom of a quiet cul-de-sac, adjacent to a beautiful buttercup meadow, which has easy access for a relaxing stroll any time of day.
Elegant king size ensuite room with private garden

King size ensuite
Your room is a light and airy ensuite loft bedroom with a restful feel that faces west with a green view. You can enjoy a medium firm king size bed with plenty of pillows, cushions and 100% cotton bedding provided for your comfort.

Ensuite Bathroom
The bathroom has a shower over bath, with a concertina screen, skylight and fan.

A Room With Character
Although this is a recently renovated room, we were keen to expose the time-worn floorboards, wooden beams and stripped pine doors which we feel gives the space a rustic twist, but captures the character of its time.

Great Facilities
The room sports many great facilities to help make your stay a comfortable one including a hot water dispenser, toaster, microwave, hair dryer, full length mirror, smart TV and even a sewing kit!

Your Own Private Garden
We thought you might appreciate a green space of your own and have created a garden just for you! This is situated below your room, westerly facing, perfect to start or wind down at the end of the day. It comes with 2 wooden steamer chairs and a table and chairs.
Self contained apartment with double room, private garden (and optional one bed cabin)

The Snug
With south facing patio doors, The Snug has plenty of light along with an antique tradition rug, solid oak sideboard and large 3 seater sofa.

Kitchen & Breakfast Room
The south facing kitchen comes equipped with a new ceramic double bowl sink, electric hob, oven and microwave. There’s a small rustic breakfast table, large 50/50 fridge freezer, recycling cupboard and fully stocked spice & tea rack for you to enjoy.

Double Bedroom
Your room is a light and airy bedroom with a restful feel that faces north with a green view. You can enjoy a medium firm double bed with plenty of pillows, cushions and 100% cotton bedding provided for your comfort.

Bathroom
The bathroom has a shower, full length glass screen, toilet, sink and plenty of towels for your stay.

South Facing Deck & Garden
The Snug opens out onto a south facing deck with picnic table and plenty space for your sun loungers. The deck looks out over a green lawn and flower beds, the perfect place to start and finish the day.

Wooden Cabin (Optional)
Should you need another room with a single bed, we have a wooden cabin available.

Peaceful and comfortable, we felt right at home at The Swallows. You’d never guess Peter and Christina were new to Airbnb – top hosts. Really nice bolthole to explore Mumbles/Gower from.

Peter and Christina went above and beyond for me. Communication was brilliant – their handbook was the spine of my beautiful experience in the Gower.
The private guest garden is such a nice touch.
